The rattle of a Rattler snake is shaken before it Strikes, Strikes, and Strikes again! That is true for the "Rattle" with the Florida A&M University Office of Student Activities Volunteer Services Program (VSP). The Rattle is a major recruiting period for our program. This is a time for new and returning Rattlers to register with the VSP, get training, and select volunteer opportunities that match their needs and desires. Students are orientated and prepared for volunteer positions and made ready to strike out their "Volunteer Venom" into the community. The Rattle for Fall 2016 is August 22 – November 4.
Volunteer Orientations are held each semester as a means of providing policy and procedural information as well as guidelines for serving the University and the community through volunteer services. Attending orientation is mandatory for participation in the Volunteer Services Program.
